Title: Looking for information about Wagoners?

Am looking for information on Wagoners.  Uniforms, firearms, and Unit assignments. Just any information at all will be very helpful.  Thanks in advance.

Several years ago I borrowed a book, and right at the moment I can't recall the title or author. anyway, in this book, if I remember correctly it said that wagoners were ranked and paid as corporal. Hopefull St. George can help us out with question.
