Lets keep our Brothers and Sisters in the NYPD, and PAPD in our minds over the next week....They're going to have a busy time of it it seems.  Also if you could Keep myself and my people in mind also, we're all on standby here in NJ as well.

We should all feel fortunate that nothing has happened at the Olympic Games this year.  The Dem. Convention was relatively quiet as well.  Lets all hope that the Rep. Convention in NYC goes a smoothly as possible. We, as Law Enforcement Officers have a job to do, protecting the lives and property of the citizens that we are sworned to serve. We should all take satisfaction in a job well done by each and every one of us. May St. Michael watch over all of us.

Howdy pards.

Seems one officer is down in NY.  Pulled off his bike and beaten uncouncious.  Perp got away when assisted by other "demonsraters".  Prayers for the downed officer are in order.  Wouldn't hurt for a prayer to assist in the arresting of the perp either.  Only good news is that they arrested some of the assisters.  Gee, I hope they resisted arrest and were "properly handled" and I do mean arrested hard!  ;D

Modified at 11:20 PM my time!  Just read that they arrested the perp for downing the officer.  Technology is wonderful!  ID'd by videotape of the incident!
