This is pretty meager I'm sure compared to some, but I decided to display my little collection of BP can designs. The only substitute is Goex Clearshot, which was a great sub when they made the first 1000 lb hand mixed, but when after a few years delay they finally geared up to make it by machine, it sucked. And then the factory burnt up. I failed to save any of my Elephant cans, and a member on this site some years ago offered to send me one but he never did. But recently another shooter gave me one. These are just sitting on top of an entertainment center; I'm thinking I might put them on a little shelf over a window.
I was gonna say I have an Elephant can
I have a DuPont BP can from when I was shooting NSSA in the late 60's & early 70's. Price written on the can $1.95
$1.95, Wow! I have to admit, the DuPont precedes my shooting days (started CAS in '99). Bunk Stagner gave me two cans, one empty. I still have the full can of FFFg, saving it. :)

Major, thanks, those are cool. I was really just wanting to display the ones I've used. However, that tall black Goex keg looked like it would be a very cool addition, especially at $20...until I saw the $35 shipping price. :o

Nuts to that, I did not catch the shipping, sorry
It was cool to see it, though. If someone wanted to I think they could make up a similar fake one.

Actually, if it has that explosive label on it, it's still considered a hazardous container, even if empty. So it's actually $10 for the shipping, & a $25 hazmat fee! :P
Hah! ;D
:o Somehow, I never imagined empty Black Powder cans or kegs as having any value other than scrap. I would however, be willing to part with some sheckels for an authentic 18th or 19th century Naval Powder Keg as used on period warships. Preferably full??? ::)

I had a movie prop Oak Powder Keg (empty though)
The label read
Hazzard Powder WorksSadly it was consumed in my Green Rm/ tack Rm.(Barn) Fire in 2012.
I have a few old and new BP powder cans. Elephant, Diamondback, Dupont, early Goex ( OE, Cowboy, Cartridge, and regular Goex) KIK and Dragon. Probably a couple hundred cans total. Wife says that is not a collection. I thought it was.

Maybe your wife is like mine and calls it accumulation?
Though she is keeper, my wife is not on board with adjectives like...
Collection or accumulation.
"SHE" feels junk and occasional "accumulated crap" are applicable.
I do have large number of metal goex cans. I offered them to anyone interested at the S.W. Regional BP championships last November at a local club, no takers. The only time anybody wanted any cans was years ago, and he knew a guy who had bought bulk powder who could use them.
