Pretty cool Jerry, Thanks for sharing! No mistaking what that is, was there a cat season in Custer County?

No. And when I looked yesterday 2 of the 3 area's where there is hunting permitted (None of them are very close to here) closed early because they had already reached their quota

We've had what we thought were cats on camera several times in the past, but they were always blurry or too far away or something. At Thanksgiving time, we got pictures of a bobcat.

That's about one hundred fifty yards from where I sleep up there.  That will be food for thought when I have to get up at night to answer nature's call!

cat season ?  I was under the impression that the cougar is an endangered species everywhere.
They are here, officials estimate there are only between 120 – 230 adults and sub-adults left in the wild in Florida.

Awsome pics.  I got excited when I saw a bodcat hunting this year, but a kitten compared to this.

Those fuzzy's come to town too. Mostly for your pets. Sightings and capture or put-downs have become somewhat common place here in the DFW metro area. Urban Wildlife. Coyotes, foxes and bobcats I've seen in my own  neighborhood here in Arlington. Down along along river beaver, the occasional gator (15'long down on Trinity Boulevard) and of course those hatefull and un-caring feral hogs that are tearing up the lawns at those Valley Ranch ($$$$$ McMansions) just this last week. Just another reason to have a Carry License while taking your wife's four legged dust mop for a walk around the block.    ;D

I got a notice today from Game and Parks that Mountain Lion season has ended. A total of 13 cats were harvested, in three management areas.

Did you have a Cougar license? The only notice I got from them yesterday was that I hadn't drawn a Bighorn tag.

On that note; I should have Pitspitr's Palace Hotel (4 units) open by then.

Food for thought hell, food for a big kitty cat.
