Title: USFA Omni-Potent
Post by: M13 Link on July 02, 2023, 05:06:20 PM
I recently purchased a USFA Omni-Potent. 7&1/2in barrel, .44-40, serial # above 27,000. I have been trying to get some information on it. Does anyone know how many were made? Breakdown on calibers and barrel lengths? I am finding more pictures of snub nose barrels than longer barrels. But I have found very little information on this gun. Thanks for any help.

Not a lot of help.  I special ordered a pair of Omni's, .38 Special, 4 3/4 barrels, nice wood.  Gorgeous guns.  Unfortunately, I was unable to get both guns out of the holsters to be able to shoot CAS Gunfighter so sold 'em on.  Probably should have hung on for the collector crowd.

I have a 3 inch one and a 4 3/4 inch, serial numbers 27063 & 27064.  How close are those to yours?  I wonder what the highest serial number in the xxxxx range they used was?

Please forgive my delayed response, I had to get it out of storage to look at it. Mine is about 50 numbers higher than yours. I am not having any luck finding any day on numbers, barrel lengths or calibers.
