Post by: DeaconKC on December 03, 2021, 07:38:13 PM
A like new 3 1/2" Schofield arrived today! Should match up well with a 5" I already use. Hope it shoots as well as the 72 Opentop it will replace.

Nice!  We will expect a shooting result soon.  :)
A friend of mine, Newt Ritter, has been shooting a pair of 5 inchers duelist for probably 20 years and regularly wins his category.

Good looking top break. Thinking that a short bbl would be easier to operate with the goofy trigger/hammer arraignment.

 :)  Oooooo That's Nice   ;)

I have been forever tempted.  A Pair of 3 1/2 inches have been calling to me for years.  I've thought it would be super fun to run a pair out to TK Precision for their Moonie modification (still allows rimmed cartridges) for .45 ACP.

Alas, Life keeps getting inna way.  There is also the problem of my not being able to shoot Gunfighter very well with Schofields.  Details.  Always details.

Stay Safe Out There

Yup, I will get pics later of the new set up. It will feature this gun and a 5" Schofield. They both handle so nicely.
