Title: Days without End. New novel.

I've just finished a novel called Days Without End by Sebastian Barry which I would recommend for a good read. It follows the story of a young Irish man fleeing the hardships of 19th century Ireland. He joins the army and sees service in the Indian wars before the Civil War before he signs up for that war. Good descriptive work during what sounds like Fredericksburg and later in Andersonville. There's more but I will leave it there. The story held me from beginning to end and the language felt right. The book will hold some challenges for the reader.
