Why is the Texas Star target not allowed in Zoot Shooting?

Also, how do you post pictures?

Hustler and Undertaker (both USPSA/IPSC shooters) who dreamed up AZSA wrote that into the rules from the beginning, they didn't like the star.  No effort has ever been made to change the rule.  I personally dislike the star because it's reset time slows down every cowboy match I've ever shot that had one in it.

I understand that it slows down a shoot. That's why you don't see it at big cowboy shoots. But it is fun, a whole lot of fun, and it's not a safety hazard. That's why we'll have it once in awhile at our monthly cowboy shoots.
