I didn't really need another Walker but was a good deal. Just got mine yesterday. 269 shipped to my door.

Cliff and anybody else who got one, how is the barrel fit? Is it real hard to take the barrel off? I got my Uberti Walker about 3 years ago and it had a hard to remove barrel. Several others have posted about the same issue since then. I'm just wondering if this recent batch is still that way.

The barrel was easy to remove. I have not checked barrel to frame or timing. I have a Walker so will leave this one for somebody else to work on.

I haven't taken the new one apart but my other one which is about five or six years old is no problem removing the barrel and action and timing was pretty nice compared to some Italian revolvers.

Thanks for the info. The price is making it tempting but there's a lot of good deals floating around right now. I have to think about this more.

They may not have any more available anyway you would need to contact them to check. They set one aside with my name on it when I called them and was told to mention the correspondence in a note with my check. I got the impression they got something like 80 of them in and they were being grabbed up fast.
