According to news I just read Clint Walker died on Monday of congestive heart failure.
I grew up watching that show. I now have the DVD's of all his seasons. I watch them at least once a year.
A good man that will be missed by many.

I liked him in Yellowstone Kelly & None But the Brave....
I'm sadden I had not given him much thought in years. Honestly had thought he'd passed years ago :-[

RIP, Cheyenne. I met him once and have two photos autographed to me; one "To Trailrider from Cheyenne" and the other to me from himself. I also liked him in "Night of the Grizzly". Sad to hear of his passing. :(

I have to say he was my favorite of the Dirty Dozen. He was a class act in all interviews I have seen him in and will be missed. He was also a favorite of my mom, so for her, I hope heaven can't find him a shirt that fits. That would make her day.

Clint Walker, Dale Robertson, Ty Harden .........all from a Golden Age of TV Western series. Clint Walker had a distinctive walk or "dander" as we called it in Ireland, that we all tried to copy. Of course, none of us had that fantastic physic to go along with it. He represented something. Something decent and upright. He was the way a western hero should be.

:( He was the kind of man that made Hollywood and then they have turned to cheap effects to try to keep people. Men of that era's character are rare today.

My local free over the air waves 'Grit' TV has been running Clint's movies since he passed. Last night was 'Yellowstone Kelly' and 'Fort Dobbs'. Great watching for a 1955 Model like my self.
