Title: Looking for 1896 Krag Carbine Handguard

If anyone has one of these floating around, I've got a few fairly hard to find Trapdoor Carbine parts I'd do some trading on.  A reproduction would be fine.

I got mine from this fellow. he makes them in house ...nice workmanship  fit like a glove

he also makes them for S&S

Good to know!  He's quite a bit less expensive than S & S, too.

Yeah ...S&S has to mark them up I suppose....

He made mine to order as he was out of stock ( so was S&S ,they said 6 weeks ) 
East Taylor took the order & shipped in 2 weeks  :)

Got it ordered, but he's got a four to five week back order.  I'll just have to shoot it without the hand guard until then........

He's good to his word  though, I got mine 2 weeks when he said he'd be 4 weeks

I ordered one of those handguards upon Major 2's recommendation and used his advice for staining,finishing. Very satisfied customer!
