I found an 1878 Stevens Tip Up in 32 Long Rim Fire and brass and Ideal 299193 bullets for it.  Loaded with 11gr FFFg, it chronographs at 1030 fps

I started a thread about this gun in the USFA section, with pictures. My Christmas present to myself was a 4-3/4" Rodeo in 44 Special. Haven't been to the range in a couple weeks so I haven't shot it yet. Need to do something about that.

Dave, I have 3 Tip Up's in the collection, the 32 Long RF and a 16ga and 12ga shotgun.  Interestingly, the shotguns are harder to find than the cartridge rifles

The man with the red sack didn't get me anything gun related, but I might have used some Christmas money to put a down payment on a Cimarron 1873 Sporting Rifle in .44-40. Finally getting my levergun!  ;D

I got a little Christmas money too, which is going into my gun account. I've saved up enough now to start shopping for a Winchester 1895 to complete my series of (mostly reproduction) Winchester lever actions (Henry,  1866, 1873, 1876, 1886, 1892, 1894 and now 1895). I also need to educate myself about '95s before I make a costly mistake...

He came a little early to my house with a SKB SXS, tuned, honed, chamfered and waiting for the snow to clear.

My present arrived on Saturday the 23. A used Rapine mold from Fleabay. Will make bullets for my percussion Sharps .54 cal. Throws nice bullets. Haven't had a chance to try any out as of yet but will soon.
