Title: Hot guns.
Post by: LonesomePigeon on August 13, 2017, 11:58:04 PM
Hi. I have a question. When shooting an SAA(or replica) with real black powder the gun gets really hot. Is it good to let it cool down after a certain number of rounds?

You might need to let it cool off when it gets too hot to touch! Seriously, I don't think you will ever achieve a "sustained rate of fire" in an SAA that will overheat and damage it. You'd probably get gummed up by fouling before that could happen.
