Title: Rescuing a Remington Hepburn
Post by: rbertalotto on May 06, 2017, 08:23:49 AM
I finished the old Remington Hepburn that has been staring at me from the bench for months!

Wrote another article about it on my web page.

Hope you enjoy it!

Great article! Did you happen to try any 32-20 bullets in a 32-40 case first? Someone may have invented the 313 swift before you altered it. lol  ;D

Yes I did try the shorter bullets in the 32-40 case but accuracy was not good. I think it was a bad chamber job in any event. Plus, pretty big cartridge for such a small bullet.

The only sensible thing to do ........... Reline the barrel to .22 and cut a chamber for 22 Hornet   ::) ;D
