Title: For an opentop.
Post by: Dalton Masterson on March 01, 2016, 11:03:06 PM
Here is one I built as an entry to the World Leather Debut in the tooled holster class.

It is built using vintage McMillen stamps.

Beautiful, Dalton. I really like the meander border.

I've really grown to like this type of holster. Used to think it covered too much of the gun. now I think it adds mystery!
Beautiful work!

Very nice! Love those McMillen tools, they are hard to get though!

Thanks guys!
You're right David. I lucked into the biggest bunch of them I have while sitting at a gun show in my hometown. The local ex saddle shop owner came by and I asked if he had any old tools. He said yes and we worked a trade of sheaths and a holster for a can of 96 mostly Mcmillen stamps with a few old craftool in the mix. They were rusty, but most cleaned up well.
