Title: Rear of riveted holster
Post by: Antipaladin on November 04, 2015, 06:19:37 PM
Does anyone have a rear view of riveted loop holster like this one? Not quite sure how to go about it.

It's a wild Rose holster, not hard to mistake Chuck Burrow's fine work or photography ...  :)
I'm sure he'll be along, directly and may provide some of his wisdom ....

the pattern would not be too hard to duplicate , but his attention to detail & finish, is unique and superb ,

I did look to see if I had a photo of the back but no luck and right now I don't have one handy to get a photo. Just got back from therapy so I'm not up to par right now but will check back and see what's happening.

Major if you know of any publishers who would print the book without any kind of up front payment from me let me know. Several folks have asked for such a book, and it would be nice even for me since I like looking at them too at times....

you might try Lulu.com  or Blurb.com

You might need to sell some up front to cover the the first books ....

if you do...I'll take a copy  :)

I've done several books through Createspace https://www.createspace.com No up front fees because it's print on demand so they print a copy when someone wants one. It's a good way to go. You automatically end up listed on amazon.com because Createspace is part of Amazon somehow.

I'd be first in line to buy Chuck's book if he ever did one!

Will Ghormley's Hand of God tutorial does a good job of illustrating how to do a riveted loop.

Thanks for the link, Craig. That is a good tutorial on how to make the holster, including advice the proper and safe use of tools.  ;D

I think a book by Chuck would be a good one to have.
