Title: Scoring Systems Available?
Post by: Reverend P. Babcock Chase on August 09, 2015, 10:19:23 PM
Howdy Competitors,

I just got word that the online scoring system that our club uses (CowboyActionScoring.com) will go off line by the end of the year. It worked pretty well and took a lot of work out of tallying and posting scores. Can anyone suggest an alternative? I'd hate to have to create an XL spreadsheet to do this stuff.

Please Help

Howdy Scorers,

I forgot to mention that ideally the scoring system would work on apple.

Still in need of help,

I've been using A.C.E.S. on my phone and really like it.  Here is the link http://acesscoring.com/download (http://acesscoring.com/download)

Thanx Silver Rings,

I'll give it a look and see if I can run it on my Imac.

Round UP is free and works very well on a PC.  Not sure how it would run on a Mac.  They do run Microsoft Office now don't they?

Look into practiscore. It should be able to setup the match for your use and it already has an online database going. CAS is a time plus penalties match so you can go in and set one up that way and even sync all of the results at the end of the match in a few minutes. You're on your own for the categories as of yet, but the USPSA divisions could be assigned and folks could just figure that part out. Maybe if you wrote to the makers of practiscore they'd do a mode just for CAS like they recently did for ICORE.
