Whew! Thought she was going to use that bad word - j-o-b! Yep, I'm getting things packed up too. We're stopping in Annapolis tomorrow night to visit MM's son and daughter-in-law and then drive to the range Thursday morning for the side matches. Can't wait - shooting, pards, vendors - cowchick heaven!!!

Some "Kid" called her that last Saturday at our match. This "Kid" thought he saw a safety infraction and ran up to the shooter to Stage DQ him. This "Kid" was not the RO, Timer Operator, or even one of the Spotters. He was just waiting his turn to shoot. I, as the Match Director, sided with the RO/Timer Operator and agreed that the shooter should have a reshoot since the "Kid" had interfered with him.
The "Kid" would not accept that no one there (26 shooters) felt as he did and he would not accept defeat and let the issue die.
AnnieLee told him to drop it or she would ask the Range Master to send him home. The "Kid" finally left on his own but stated he would make an issue out of it on the SASS WIRE. In his message on the SASS WIRE, he referred to our AnnieLee as a "Nasty Lady".
Litl' Rooster was there too. Trinity got there too late....he was sleepin' in. He missed all the excitement.

A couple of pards there asked why I didn't hit him with my skillet, and I happened to be wearing Bowie at the time.
The things the pards said after he left were pretty durned funny!
I did hit him again, Forty, and shortly after that, he withdrew his question.

That rascal Delmonico ..hiding behind his apron all the time..stirrin' more than a pot of vittles most of the time....and then leadin' all them men to believin' that he knew what was on Miz Annie's backside.. I knew he gave her some of that special grease that he has for Miz Annie's cartridge burn.. and as for his dear wife dragging him out of the gutter that the other fellers' pushed him in..pppfffffhhhufffttt .. that poor woman has drug him out of so many scrapes and messes that there is a permanent trail where his boots have made.
Tatoos! What in the world is all the fuss about anyway! I'll have to ask Miss Cammie if'n she knows anythng about these tattoo things., a'fore Annie Lee gets wind of all this flappin' lip talk. Well once again keeping bad company has left me in their fallout. ;D I don't know for sure, but accordin' to Forty Rod, "Nasty Lady" is tattoed on her right forearm and as for the Um, er ah backside the left one has a irun skillet and the right one has two Gummi Bears holdin' hands. ;D
Now that is what Forty Rod tolt me in a PM. I'd sent it to ya, but I accidently deleted it. ;D

The engraving will be done on a plaque I can pick up in the morning.
I'm not telling you the location(s) of my tattoo(s), if I have any.

By the way, the kilt arrived, but no matching sash and shirt to go with it. I am currently at a lost as to what to wear for the banquet Saturday night.

Well, I think I have a solution to my banquet gown problem. I'm gonna do it the way they did it back then. I think it will be the black gown that most folks can see in my profile, but with a different corset and hat.
I don't like that it shows a lot of cleavage, but it's too late to get another gown and wearing a high necked shirt under it looks really dorky. (Yes, I tried.)
Buck, the kilt was supposed to be a "hostess" kilt meant for formal wear. It was supposed to be so long the hem would brush my ankle. It doesn't. The hem is at my calf and it doesn't have the deep pleats for fullness that I ordered. I ordered the kilt, sash, and shirt back in the beginning of June and was given a 6-8 week delivery time. I even called to nag them and was told everything would be here yesterday. The kilt was the only thing that showed up.
Thus the flailing.
