Title: New Range for THUNDER RIVER RENEGADES
Post by: Blackpowder Burn on April 06, 2011, 10:05:02 AM
The Thunder River Renegades have moved to a new range in Magnolia, Texas.  The new range offers many more options for CAS fun, including room for more stages, lots of parking, dry camping, and long range rifle.  The first shoot at the new facility will be the weekend of May 7 & 8.  That weekend also corresponds with our Annual Picnic and raffle.  We'll have a short main match and several fun side match events with a BBQ dinner.  Y'all come out and join us.  There is a map to the new facility on the club website.

We've got the new range set up and ready to gofor our annual picnic this Saturday (May 7th).  We've got a lot more improvements planned, but it's already a huge improvement over the old range. Beautiful surroundings, lots of room to shoot, great picnic grounds - come check it out.

Photos of the new place are on our website.  A map to help you find it is also posted there.

We had a great turnout, with 81 shooters at the picnic and new range inaugural shoot.  That is a new record for club attendance.  Everyone had a great time and loved the new facilities.  If you get the chance in the future, come on out and see us at TRR.
