Remember folks, the only stupid question is the one that don't get asked. :P

That is fer certain OT.  Me an Lil share a like sense of humor, and I love it when we get ta laughin so hard we can't even talk.  Makes us feel about 10 years younger.
When we first met we were in a room full of people watchin a George Carlin video an the two uf us looked like complete idiots fer all the laughin we were doin.  It was actualy painful, but in a good way.

Roo, there is a site called Fancast that lets anyone with any IP watch Hulu shows and movies.  They got everythin from vintage shows ta new stuff.  I been usinin it fer awhile and it appears ta be safe.  They actualy had a whole season of Alias Smith and Jones on there.  There are commercials, but they're only about 10 ta 15 seconds apiece.  It's perty neat.

All the ones just mentioned are available.  I've watched some of the first seasons of Have Gun Will Travel and Wanted: Dead or Alive.  I've got Alias Smith and Jones in my Netflix list.

been watching Peacemakers on hulu provided by my internet provider.    Dirty Jobs and Myth Buster are the other 2 I watch, and not faithfully   Mike Rowe cracks me up

I always enjoyed that show.  It came out right after I was laid up with a broken leg and had no access to my movies or books.  It was very welcome, but I hated that I had to wait another week for it to come back.

I had never heard of Hulu. Thanks for the tip.  I'm going to bookmark that site for sure!

Here's another tip.
Through Fancast you can download an add on fer ABC Full Episode Player.  Shure it's only ABC shows but they are in much higher resolution than average Hulu.  We watched the latest Boston Legal Thanksgiving episode tanight.  It buffers a lot in the first minute or so then runs real smooth on full screen.  You have ta click ta continue after the commercials, but it's worth it.
Watched some Have Gun Will Travel earlier (fergot how much I loved that show) an if Lil an CJ go shoppin tanight I might view an episode or two of the original Terlit Zone while they's gone.  Those are just on the regular player.
Might as well throw the TV out the window, it has become obsolete.

Two more fer the folks usin Fancast/Hulu I found in the movie section.
First one was from 1955 called Five Guns West.  Good plot an it aint too long.  Confederate army is gettin hard up fer men an pardons 5 criminals sentenced ta hang ta go get some Yankey gold fer em.
The other was Return of a Man Called Horse.  I aint much fer sequels, but this one had the same actors in the key roles as the original and was surprisingly good.  I had just watched the original a couple months ago so the story was fairly fresh in ma mind.

Engineers and EOD people live to blow stuff up. I got to do some of that in the Army and Law Enforcement.

Somethin special about blowin things up :D

Was at the outdoor range one day an after a clear, a guy next ta us says, "we just set some "reactive" targets out there so try not ta hit em."  Well ta me "reactive" targes usualy means the black ones that turn flouescent green where ya hit em.  I went about shooting ma own targets.  All of a sudden the guy yells "FIRE IN THE HOLE".  KA-BOOM!!!  The friend I was shooting with almost had a heart attack.  It was like a claymore ;D

I remember when I was about 4 or 5 before startin school anyway, my granddad bought a 40 acre spot and it had a lot of trees on it, he farmed so he got some dynamite and he my uncle  dug holes down beside the trees, put a charge in the hole and one by one hooked up a blasting cap to one of them boxes with the T handle you push down and get a boom,  I can remember them lettin me shove the handle down and blowin them trees and stumps out,  man I thought that was Cool. ;D

4th of July just never was the same.

Back in the early 70s I was working in Dallas County. We got a call to down on the Trinity to check out some old dynamite that some kids had found.  They had a flood over there and a lot of stuff wound up in the river, including an old wooden box of Dynamite.  Dallas County SO had their own Bomb guy. He met us at the scene. He loaded it into his bomb trailer and took it an old gravel pit. He asked if any of us had any experience with explosives. I told him that I had in the Army, he he volunteered me to help him. We wired it up and shot it off. He told me I could be his assistant until he retired in a couple of years, then I could be the "Bomb Guy".  I decided to pass on that. It was fun setting it off but I would not like to defuse a bomb.

Ya think they woulda pulled him from the program the first time he pulled that.  Don't know many folks who'd let their future come down ta whether er not they had a dog treat immediatly at the ready.  Can just imagine some poor soul reachin in his pocket an realizin he left the milk bones in the van.  That's skeery.

USC won again, jeesh they're like the new "florida teams" of the 90s... I'm so sick of it out here. "whoaaa, USC USC!!!" I mean my friends went to school there right, for the football, got what they wanted and jetted out.  They told me it was like high school all over again.  One loved it for that (he was like a god there) the other, his best friend, did it just for the football and a great education.

I'm not a big USC fan, but they looked hard to beat, except for that bad snapon a punt in the 4th quarter.   I think they should playing Florida for the National Championship instead of OU.

flat out, there should be a playoffs. period.
like two more weeks.  my dad thought it would be cool to have the college championship during the weekend between the conference championships and the super bowl.  I agree, Dec-Jan would become to us football fans what October is to baseball!

LOL!
isn't it funny how we all want the history part?  only good class there is to teach!
my sophmore teacher, God bless him, had us at the beginning of the semester answer:
"why do we teach history?"
at the end of the semester for the final:
"why do we teach history?"

that's all he cared about, but he was an awesome teacher.  Got out of that sesspool of a school after receiving his masters and is now a temp at a local university.  Inspired me to no end.

I watch it for the car, always have always will.  It's like the Bond movies, I don't watch them to learn anything, nothing at all! I just watch them to be entertained.  I suspend disbelief pretty easily, so yeah, if I hit mute, I can stand the acting... why?  the car.

The guy flew an old grumman seaplane "Cutter's Goose" and had a dog named Jack that had an eye patch. I saw on of those planes used in the show at a restoration hangar at Kissimmee airport.
