Remember someone, I believe it was Dick Dastardly shooting EPP bullets in his Seneca. Wondering what weight powder charges He used with the best results. The EPP bullets shoot to point of aim out of my 1858 Remington conversions with very little recoil. Thought I would get the Seneca out and try them. Great bullet and very easy to cast. A wonderful product keep up the good work Dick.
I would start with 50gr of 3F and work both ways from there.
From memory, I was workin' with the same nipple on my flask I'd been using to charge the ROA. That would be 30 grains of FFFg LIDU. I spent half an afternoon shootn' juice cans, bottle caps and 22cal swingers. On paper and with a rest they went into one hole at 50 yards. I didn't graph 'em and now I wish I had.
I do know that I was using the same lube/sized bullets I'd been pushin' into my ROA cylinders. The Seneca rifle had a nice wet muzzle and when I got done it cleaned up rite easy.
I have the TC Maxi Ball mold for that gun and it shoots very well. I'm thinkn' the lii EPP-UG acts a lot like a stubby Maxi Ball.
As you increase your powder charge, watch your group sizes. If they start to spread, back off a few grains and have fun. Cuts may be right on. Remember, I was usin' FFFg powder.

Thanks Cuts Crooked & Dick Dastardly for the information. I will try both both FFFG and 3F APP.

Shot some more with the lil TC Seneca. Yup, EPP-UG bullets over 30 grains of FFFg does the trick. More if you like, but not much less.
