It took just short of two months for the grips to ship from Russia ....

The seller was very pleasant and communitive, and the  post did say  6-8 weeks , being as how Russian Post, US customs and USPS was handling the shipment

I have sent Wildman1 set on this morning and fitted my set ...

the first photo is my gun as I got it ...post WWII armory refresh with plastic grips and the Cold war pleather-ish holster.

My gun is an Izhevsk Armory made in 1943 , in the second photo , with correct wood grips installed and leather holster by World War Supply.

The grips, reasonably easy to fit , just the middle spacer on mine need thinning ( easy with sandpaper on  a flat surface and rub the grips over it )  the two outer scales fit fine.  OEM screws are reused.

The grips come un-varnished ,  I used my normal finish Skidmore's cream then Johnson's finish wax.
I like the new look
