almost rare 44

Howdy RATS!

I check a couple of auction sites now and then and have lately found that Ruger made a few
 6 1/2" brl 44-40's. I shoot 44's and have for 12 years. I did not know they made the 6 1/2 length. Did anyone out there know about this before. I called Ruger and it was not ever cataloged. Stock # BNV406. Model # 0559.


Yes I did buy one. Just before a fellow put up consecitive serial #'s for sale. RATS!!
