At the SASS clubs' matches in the Dept. of WI that I have participated in, they are very few participants that are dressed in military outfits, most are "cowboys" and gamblers. At the match by Ripon on April 15, 2006, there was a gentleman that was dressed as the Civil War Union Lieutenant General. He usually is dressed as a gambler. I commended him for his superb outfit. He told me of the research he did to get it correct. Too bad I didn't have a camera with me.

What we need is some recruiting flyers to hand out.
Once we get the website back under control, perhaps we could post a recuiting application that explains what the GAF is and how to enlist.
Any volunteers to put something like that together?

Good Afternoon, General;
I would be happy to assist in creating an application for enlistment/commission in the GAF.
I can save it off as a document, a pdf, and in html, allowing multiple uses.
I have the honor to remain,
Your Obedient Servant,

Mind you I am willing to host the website on my server. It may reduce some of the problems we may be having.
