Coffee and sweet tea ready for your June pleasures :o

Today?s Farmers Market she has fresh made Zucinni Bread along with her weekly items and our fresh eggs. Weather looks good for the day high in the 80?s and clear skies.

using 4 days of vacation time, mainly because I'll loose my sub at work within the next couple of weeks, and won't be able to take off for a while. She'll be getting her own route, and then we'll be short 3 subs, for 6 routes. Oh, well. Looks like no Grand Muster for me, this year.
So the family wanted to go somewhere, went to St Louis yesterday and spent all the afternoon at the zoo, had to go all the way out of town to Washington, Mo, for a hotel room. Not being sports fans, we inadvertantly picked the weekend when both the Cubs were in town, and the Stanley cup was here, so everything closer was booked solid. Not sure where we'll go today.
-
Time sure id passing by quickly, Hope Y'all have a pleasant weekend,I'm going shooting tomorrow weather permitting.

I'll be shopping for a new Computer for home use .... after the latest Windows 10 update my old (original Window 7 unit ) gave up the ghost ....just to much new new crap I suppose .... I can still open my Doc's & photos...but just a white screen when I try to access anything on-line.
Have to say I got 8 years out of old Windows 7 unit before this latest update glitch, I figure I'll just retire it :-\
Other than that 92 degrees feels like 96 humid but no rain in sight....

Bands of rain keep passing through this afternoon. First one caught me away from the house, fixing fence. Of course, I wasn't in the truck, but riding the Farmall tractor, so I got soaked. Changed clothes and went to the tractor tire shop, they had a back tire off of my big JD being fixed. Drove through heavy rain and some small hail on the way. Then... Sun came out and the humidity soared. Got tractor tire "sort of" on the tractor and the downpour started again. Put away tools and came inside-and within 5 minutes back to sunshine and humidity again. I'm working up a pretty good size pile of wet clothes here!
-
Sounds as if you are a full time farmer now ;D
-
Morning coffee and fixings are ready...Bon appetite ya?ll ::)
The weather guessers are calling for rain the next 6 days. We could use some here- I believe eastern Georgia was needing some as well. Rain is to appear here later today. I seen the radar images late last and cells covered central Florida northwards. Yet to be seen. The Head comp- troller hasn?t released the flight plan yet.
There was a idpa match at a local indoor lastnight, this intestinal thing I have, kept us from attending. Suzanne is more interested in it than I. We have the equipment needed. If she wanted to get serious.

Not as much as I use to be... I have a dog though who thinks the crack of day, is the time she should go outside.
Lately I have been having some health issues that gets me up anyways.
Rain has arrived, kind of light showers for now- guessers are calling for more next 5 days. We could use it.
Yesterday to shorten the story. We had a Hummingbird get in the house. The cats tried to help but ran when we told them to get outside. Suzanne caught it on the kitchen window, I grabbed my phone to record it. Only got one photo before it flew off outside. Now if I can get it to post here.

Was supposed to get the new air conditioning today, guy called and they can't make it because one of their guys died. Maybe Sat. He kept apologizing and I told him not to, I understand.

75 and overcast today. Might get rain tonight, but we might not.
Breakfast today was egg and sausage cooked in a cast iron mini skillet (6" Lodge) with cowboy coffee. I had gotten used to the Keurig, and forgotten how much I prefer "real" coffee. And BRCC's "Beyond Black" roast lends itself very well to cowboy coffee.
On today's agenda is some paperwork, then a trip to the store.

Cloudy and humid (at least to my dry California weather standard) today. I was supposed to fly this morning at 7, but no airplanes were available, so that didn't happen.
Beyond that, all is calm in central Montana.
Roo, my mom is on a practically vegetarian diet right now per the doctor's orders to deal with chronic ulcers and whacky blood sugar. One of her favorite recipes is white sweet potatoes cut into slices (steak fries, really) and brushed lightly with melted butter and sprinkled with garlic powder. It goes well with sourdough and a bowl of lentil and tomato stew.
--TK

Del - too much fiber ;D
TK no tomatoes or lentils. Or raw veggies or fruits.. which I do like. >:(

Kid, get that woman a new Dr. One that says you need a vegetarian diet for an ulcer ain't fit to practice, got a feeling he's a veggie himself.
Hospital sent me a veggie dietion in 2005, most here know the story, but it was a battle of wits against an unarmed person. Don't know if she cried after she left but wasn't far from it when I told her to get the hell out. Malnourished looking bitch. ;D

Sunny in Billings. Might get rain in the afternoon, but it's looking pretty sunny right now.
Didn't get to go to the shooting match. They wanted $15 at the door, and then I wouldn't have been allowed out of a dues-paying member's sight. And there were any members around that were up to the task. So I guess I'll just have to shoot somewhere else.
In other shooting news, my girlfriend is coming around on the subject. She's not against guns or shooting, she just doesn't care to participate in the powder burning. But last night while we were just sitting on the couch, I happened to be looking at some Charter Arms guns, and she said, direct quote,
"Oo, I might shoot one of those."
So a new revolver might be joining my stable. ::)

That's not too bad. Too far away for frequent visits, though.
And the 'naders got us too, Del. Little one out in a field to the east about 5-10 miles. No damage to life or property, though some prairie dogs are probably dizzy.

Evening all.
Currently cloudy and expecting thunder later on here in Big Sky country.
I had an interview at the corner store today, and walked out not only hired, but given a raise from $9.50 to $10.25. Must have said something right. Start tomorrow afternoon, 2:30-10.

The one on Rimrock or the 17th Ave place ?
I do both, but I was at 17th today.
In that vein, it was a very busy night. There were a lot of interesting characters in there. Makes me glad my ccw is in the works. 8.5hours later, and the only time I sat down from 2:30-11:30 was when I got in my truck to leave. But, I'm $90 richer. Or less poor. Kind of a glass half empty kind if deal, I suppose.
Congrats on job...
Thanks.

I?ll keep the noise down this morning.
Coffee is up...

Congrats on the first night. Second cup of coffee tastes as good as the first. Welding class continues, my lack of skill is astounding! However, I should get to pick up a pair of Colt revolvers today, if one arrives at my FFL. A Pocket Positive in .32 and a New Service in .45ACP.

Man, my wife is great! They had a retirement lunch at her work today and she snuck me out some really, REALLY good peach cobbler!

Morning coffee is up....

Wife and I made shredded roast chicken tacos on soft but grilled corn tortillas... for supper last night. The grilled food, the peppers and onions from a friends garden. No salsa doctors orders .... still very good. First time Suzanne ever ate corn tortillas, she is sold on them. Less points than flour type. For point counters.

Last day of June already....
Coffee is brewing... ;D
-
Morning all.
I thought today would be my Friday, but it turns out that it's not. I get to work morning shift M-F next week. Jumping from 2:30-11:30pm shift to 5am-1pm shift. Starting to feel like a kangaroo or something with all this jumping around.
