I have a couple of questions....

What is the range for the rifle? I see 15 yards for pistol, but nothing for rifle.

Can you just print the targets? Would it be the right size on standard printer paper?

Currently, the range is 50 yds.
If you print the targets on 8.5X11 everything should be just fine. I'm going to waive the entry fee again this time if you do everything on line, but most likely in the spring match I will require the fee as I'm trying to finance some steel to make into targets for the GAF's use.

I would like to register as well. Do we need to tell you what class we are shooting at registration? Or just when we send the target itself?
I am hoping to shoot my 1860 and a rifle as well, but its all weather and wife dependent right now.

So did I read that right that my 74 sharps with the ladder sight would be eligible for the match?
Do we send pistol targets also , or can we just shoot the rifle?
Are there any powder restrictions?
When is the cutoff for registration?

Registration cutoff date is Oct. 31 24:00. If you email the registration and download the targets yourself I am waiving the registration fee. You can enter as many (or as few) different firearms as you wish. You need to register first, so if you think you might want to shoot it, register it. If you register it and don't shoot it ther isn't a penalty.  The Sharps is currently eleigible, though in the revisions that will be unvieled this winter if it isn't a military sharps it won't be. So if you might want to shoot it shoot it now. No powder restrictions. My e-mail is:

Thanks, my sharps does have the military butt...... But to stay within the spirit of the game , unless I can get my neighbors trapdoor borrowed, or maybe talk him into shooting this match as well I stand by and watch.

Don't do that!
The spirit of the game is to get involved in GAF as much as possible. Borrow the neighbors trapdoor and shoot both it AND the sharps

ABSOLUTELY!

Shoot as much or as little as you'd like.

Are you still getting snow?  It's snowing heavy here!

No it quit snowing here last night. The wind is supposed to get pretty raunchy, and all the highways south of the river are either closed or no unnecessary travel. Roads out of Lusk flap back and forth from slick and blowing snow to closed.
Gonna be a long winter I'm thinkin :o

Sent you an emule, Col.

Pooper Trooper would like to enter the biological weapons class with spittle and drool, but I see its not acceptable at this time.  ;D

Its still a light snow here, but due to stop just shortly. Very wet snow, and about 4-6 inches it looks to me.

I doubt we've got 6 inches here. It stayed warm enough and the ground despite all the moisture we've already had was still warm enough to melt the snow.
Was going to send the cull cows to town tommorrow for the cow special on Monday, but they cancelled the sale. Good thing as I don't think the truck could of got in and if it did get in getting out loaded may have been a spectacular event.
:oWas feeling pretty smug thinking I had enough hay, but then again we don't usually start feeding until thanksgiving. Spoze we'll know more about it come May. ;D

;D I'll keep that in mind if these stacks start getting to low, but I'm afraid we'ld end up putting some truckers yet to be born grandkids thru college the way the freight rates are nowdays. :o :D
Is there any hay moving down there? I know several hay producers that just aren't getting much activity , due to the large amount of hay in the entire region.

T-shirt weather back East here in North Cakalaky.

Just sayin-I'd rather live out in the Midwest than in this swamp.

I still have the rounds I brought with me to the Grand Muster for the Trapdoor side match I was dreaming about and I've been runnin a Trapdoor quite a bit longer than I have those newfangled Krag repeaters. Guess I'll have to shoot both If I have the time!

Don't really know. I never sold any before, but I got a job in town so I'm selling the cows some time in the next couple of months.
