Thanks for the Coffee, Slim.

Had catfish at Church supper last night.

The dogs (all 4 of them)have all been whining since zero dark thirdy. They have made Mrs Ralph angry and making my ears bleed. One got out of her crate at 4am. Going to send her to Vegas, she can get a stage job.

Getting more out for family yard sale- step sons say they are going to bring their unwanted.

Don't ever say fat old men can't get things done.

Plan A, take it apart in the back of the pick-up to make it easy.

Yep, rain every day off.  Needed it unloaded so I can load for demo on Saturday.

Day off, starts raining just before I get outside.  Waited till the shower was over and said the hell with it.  Using balance, the leverage of the stove, luck and guts, both I and the stove are undamaged.

Fancy letter opener?  Cigar knife?  Nail trimmer?

30-some degrees today, and raining.  Had a little white stuff this morning, but nothing stuck around.  I have a simulator flight in a little while.

My sister was out with a friend yesterday in the city and got into a pretty significant car accident.  Totalled the other car.  Fortunately, nobody was hurt.  The other driver was at fault (looking at a cellphone, going ~50 in a parking lot and blew a stop sign).  1999 Dodge half ton beat 2016 Subaru, and the winner is still on the road.

Got it posted  in the Civil War Kitchen group I'm in.  My Victorian cooking group I started and my Cast Iron cooking group as well as the sister coffee chat group. Some knowledgeable kitchen antique collectors in the groups.

Bet I'll have an answer by tomorrow if not tonight.

Ya’ll are awesome. I’ve had it for 20 years or more. Never knew what it was. Bought with a handful of other folders and a straight razor. Still have the straight razor also.

No, thought the picture was marked, it's an ink eraser, you scrape off the ink your quill or nib wrote wrong.

Have a guy in the Civil War Kitchen group that portrays a gentleman, think he even hired a substitute.  See sometimes us crude unpolished guys can learn from a gentleman.  Us, we'd just have to scrape it off  with our Barlow knife.
