Title: Fishing for interest

no longer Thinking of Offering my Berthier Artillery Carbine  :-\

whoopsy I've had a change of heart

Though better of it  :P

As shown below....


Comes near turn key...that is,  all but loaded ammo ....Though I have some 50 rounds of factory Prvi Partizan (if we can figure how to ship it legally)

 1. the Carbine ( bright bore, strong rifling slugs to .329 )
 2. the Bayonet w/ scabbard & frog
 3. 1 set of Lee Dies (as new ) I loaded about 25 rounds
 4. about 150 cast & sized bullet (50 are GC'ed )(it likes 12.1 grains of TrailBoss )
 5. 50 brand new Prvi Partizan  8MM Label Brass 
 6. 4 - 3 round clips (original & excellent )
 7. the afore mention loaded Prvi Partizan factory rounds.

I won a can of pop shooting one of those at an impromptu match when I was in college.  We were on a field trip courtesy of Uncle Sam at the time...…….

$500 shipped seems pretty reasonable....what gets ya is needing all the leather gear, uniform, helmet etc. :( :P ;D.

BTW...you can ship that ammo legally through UPs but you just need to go to a shipping center not a UPS store.  It also needs to be marked ORMD.

You got that right! Leather gear isn't too awfull pricey, but the most important item of French uniform....the GREATCOAT.... A really good one will set you back as much as M-2 is asking, or you can get a Chinese knock off on E-bay for a little less than half as much.

Chinese stuff is funny...sometimes it is dirt cheap and teh next item is more than WPG and looks like absolute crap.

Kinda over the notion , I forgot the curiosity it generates a the range   ;)
