This is to let folks know that I'll setting up another G.A.F. Chat Room on this Forum on Wendsday, July 23rd. The Time is set for the Chat to start at 9:00 p.m. Eastern Time, however I will be arriving early to setup the Chat Room around 8 or 8:30 for those interested in showing up early.
For our Western Comrades I'll keep the Chat open as long as members are present in the Room.
To access the Chat Rooms feature on this Forum look below the Search Bar near the Top of the Screen and you will see a Button that says "CHAT" click on this button and it will open the Chat Rooms feature. When this opens there will be a bar at that Top that States what room you are in. The Choices should be "The Long Branch," "The Darksiders Den," and the "Grand Army of the Frontier," click over to the G.A.F. Chat and that is where you will find us.

I'll try to stop by before I go home, if I don't have customers, or heck, might be a GAF person and then I could have them join in. ;D

Must've just missed you. I got on the chat room and had a nice "conversation" with Malachi Thorne and Col. Bull Schmitt, 'tho, so it wasn't all in vain.

Sorry, I missed it. I went to sleep in my recliner and didn't wake up until about 0130.

Well regretably there was a problem with my computer last night and twice during the night I was knocked offline :-X and the Chat was temporarily shut down. It appears that this happened when a few folks tried to come in, so the timing couldn't have been worse. This is one of those things that would be better controled with alittle bit of more organization though.
I know I ran the Chat from 8 pm to 11:30 pm Eastern Time, but we only had 4 members show up this time, although I'm sure if it hadn't of been for the getting knocked offline there would have been more. But I shall try again.
Out of curiosity does anyone know how to go about making the Chat Room a Permanent one in the Chat Rooms of the CAS City Forum? It would be easier if it was a permanent room instead of one that had to be created each time.

I guess I'm gonna have to set an alarm to wake me up for the Chat room. I'm O for 2.

No worries, I know I'm going to try and contact the Marshall about setting up a permanent chat for the GAF, that way anytime folks want to chat they will be able too. It will also ensure that if my computer loses connection again that the room will not disapper as it did the other night.

I have sent an E-Mail to the Marshall requesting the creation of a "Grand Army of the Frontier" Chat Room in the Chat Section. I sent it a few hours ago, but as soon as I hear a response I will be sure to let everyone know if it is "Yah" Or "Nah."

I doubt it will be a problem, most likely a matter of him having time to set it up.

Good News everyone, the Marshall has been kind enough to set us up our very own G.A.F. Chat Room for us to meet and talk in. It's now open 24/7 for anyone wishing to come in and chat. The best way to tell if folks are in is to look at the No. of users in the Cas city Chat Room. I know I will be in the Room off and on during the week as long as my connection holds out.
If Departments wish I would suggest trying to hold Department Chat's or things of the like.
