Why not pick the birthday of the GAF?
When was it officially founded? Do we need to establish a birth date?
I don't believe so. The first members joined the GAF on 1/20/2003. That would make the GAF Birthday 1/20 and in a couple of months we'll be 10 years old!

You know when we had the NCOWS Convention in Council Bluffs, IA we checked into having a tea at the General Crook House. A perfect setting.

Wherever the event would be held, success would depend on being accessible as a transportation hub.

... the General Crook House. A perfect setting.

That would be a perfect setting! And like you say Omaha is something of a transportation hub.

Here is my proposal for the Department of the International! Located in Captain Kichener's survey office circa 1867 in Cyprus. 8)

For most of you stateside the Crook venue sounds like it'll be a winner.
