When I was a youngin, my friend and I would go to the rifle range at a local park. When it was empty, we would hit the dirt banks behind the targets for fired slugs to use with our wristrockets.

Thanks, guys. Just thought I'd check as I've been offered some. The guy at the tyre shop melts them to make sinkers for his fishing. I sorted the steel ones out of the bunch with a magnet.
