Hmmm. Easier bolt manipulation od the K-98 rear mounted bolt handle vs the forward one on the '88-but then there's the easier reloads(in my opinion) of en-block clips vs strippers.

But I'll have to wait to watch, since the satellite says I've over used my data for the month..... >:(

Great video but I really wish they would have at least procured correct uniforms and equipment. ARRGGHHHH!!!!!!!!

Interesting video.

I have seen pictures of the magazine extension in books used on the K-98 AZ, but never in any actual WW 1 pictures.

I have seen five or six of them in use during the war. Most of the time they appear to be involved the hands of NCO's.

Is the Soldaten on the right carrying a flare gun in his belt or is that another type of pistol?

It looks like a Hebel flare gun with the barrel shortened to me.
