Which .44 Henry box label do you like?

1)  One I made up, a close copy of original

2)  Original of one above

3)  Ethan Allen original

4) Unbranded .44 Henry with gold leaf

5) Early Winchester

6) Later Remington-UMC

7) Early New Haven Arms

8)  United States Cartridge Co.

Now I have to choose between EIGHT great options???

OK, asked to narrow it down to one, I'd pick number 7 just for the historical look.

PS--I've noticed before that when you type the numeral 8, followed by a right parenthesis, you get a sunglasses emoji like this:  8).  It's pretty cool.

      Greetings, TL!

Numbers THREE, FOUR, and SEVEN! If I really had to choose...
Number three.

I choose "All" as well.   :)
But if I had to pick one, I'd go with 4, I guess because it is different besides looking cool.

It is my understanding that the black with gold label in 50 and 100 round boxes are the earliest/oldest type  labels. And hardest to fined. Next would be the #3 and #7 labels.
I only use the labeled boxes to take my ammo up to the loading table. It just depends on the time period you wish to portray.
My best,

Timeframe - Schmimeframe - Hocus Pocus.  THE most important thing when you stroll up a CAS loading table, is KOOL!!  Most everybody is hunkered over a "Loading Strip" of some sort, some really fancy, some plain.  Bunch of folks opt to be simple and just walk up with their "uber kool" Blue Plastic 100 round ammo box (no kool factor at all).  SO:

My suggestion is for the most ornate and KOOL label you can find.  I my personal case, Major 2 genderd up some absolutely swell "Steampunk" labels for my cartridge boxes.  The citizens in attendance universally declare them UBER KOOL!!!  Me Too

BRS,

Well understand.  When I contemplated NCOWS and a trip the the National, I was most interested in the "Originals"   However, it turned out there is no NCOWS anywhere near me, and the National was a far piece.  A Bridge or two two Far as it twer.

laying with guns and their accouterments be fun regardless of the "Why."   ;D

Tuolumne,

I deleted my two previous posts because a 'simple question' like yours should not have lead to a debate of right or wrong.

I do hope you will now get added input to increase your poll votes.
