I couldn't find a proper reproduction cartridge box for the 41 where the cartridges fit without rattling around in the box, so I adapted a pair of my 44 Russian Cheyenne boxes. It was as easy as just lining the interior walls with pieces of cardboard, a pair of 4 1/2" X 1 7/16" and a pair of 2 1/4" X 1 7/16", then gluing them to the interior sides of the box. 50 41 Colt ctgs fit almost perfectly. I then played with resizing a picture of an old 41 label I found on the internet and printed them and glued them over the 44 Russian labels.

I just found a bag of 41 Colt cartridges buried in the back of my loading room. I don't have a 41 Colt.

Very nice Pathfinder :)
For anyone that would like to do some Cartridge Boxes as in more than just a few....
Cheyenne Pioneer Cartridge Boxes can get pricey @ $18.00 for a Pack of 5
Here is a tip .... I order my boxes from PaperMart
https://www.papermart.com/p/kraft-covered-setup-mailing-boxes/1104
I order 055040 4 1/4 '' X 2 3/4 '' X 1 1/2 " 100 to the CASE that is $ 0.70 a box
Like Pathfinder, I get my photo of whatever Label I want on the internet then resize the picture print them and glued them.
I've made several hundred, for myself and given many to my friends... :)
It is a fun project

I just can't tell you how many hours I have spent searching chipboard boxes looking for a good fit for the 38-40 and 44-40 cartridges. I will to give them a try.
