They were the ill-advised replacement for the larger, more combat-proven .455's.

If your piece has import stamps - it's worth less than the $200 suggested - if it has a 'safety' - they were Israeli Police weapons - recently imported and unless you collect cop guns - they have little actual collector value.
They had a 'war-time finish' that was supplanted by black paint, so some can look rough, but aren't.
They 'are' collectable - depending upon condition, who made it and any Property Markings - and clean ones usually go for $225 or so - depending on the mad lust to own one.
