Hurahh for the voice of the people!

Sounds like the 2 anti gun Senators lost their recall, huh?

Will you Coloradoans now be able to get the law overturned?

Pitspitr,

While the recall of two of our more vocal Democrats bodes well for the outcome of future elections it’s not enough to change the balance of power this year.  The liberals still hold a majority in both houses of the legislature and the Governor’s mansion.  What it does tell us it that the liberals went too far this year on several issues (not just guns.)  I don’t think we should see the anti’s pushing any new gun legislation this year given the spanking received by two of their ilk and the fact that it's an election year.

We’re all hopeful that this “throw the bums out” attitude will carry over into the 2014 elections and we can take things back.   We’ll all be working our butts off to keep the distasteful reminders of what the liberals did in everyone’s face during the 2014 election year when enough of the bums including the Governor are up for reelection.

Wish us all well, we may need it

I know. Sometimes I just feel like we need to celebrate the little things too else we get too discouraged that we give up.

I do wish you and our friends in Illinois well. Without all of us gun owners, no matter where we live, no matter what discipline we shoot, sticking together we are doomed to loose the rights we hold precious.

Did the flooding miss Aurora?

Aurora got 11.88 inches of rain!  We got hit hard.  Rivers running where six lane city streets were an hour before, lakes where none had been.  The worst of the rain stopped last night and most of town is passable today.   We still have several locations around town under water.  A few places will take some time to rebuild, even after the water goes away.

From the news reports I figured it had to be close. I hope your basement didn't get too wet.

I hope all the Colorado Zoot Shooters and their families managed to come through the flooding O.K. and congratulations on getting rid of the bums in the recall election.
