I have some .38 S&W loaded with Matts Bullets 200 grainers to approximate the brit 38/200 round.  I am seriously considering loading cast .359 ish SWC Hollow Points.  I may just feed all 3 guns the 38 S&W loads and not deal with the bulged case for .38 specs shot from a reamed out .38 S&W cylinder on the snub nose.  Have Red Dot A2 A5 HS6 HP38 and some unique.  The Bullets seem to be available in weights 130 -160 grains.

Any of you loading a .38S&W with the SWC HPs?  Is it even a good idea?  If you are what kind of load and what does the Chrony Tell you?

Wonder of wonders  GT Bullets has been running way behind I ordered 500 of the 160 grain SWCHP bullets from them 5 May.  For the last 3 or 4 weeks they have been showing shipping orders from 29 Apr to 3 May.  Today the site says now shipping orders 1-5 May.  May actually get my bullets by Thanksgiving and then can test them both as .38 S&Ws for the M&Ps and .38 special for the one that had cylinders bored to .38 Spec.  I do have a replacement .38 spec cylinder I may put in one of the 2 non stubby victory models.

Will render a range report on both .38 spec and 38S&W M&P only loads not for use in webleys or police positive .38 S&W
