Faux ivory grips

I saw these grips on one of my Facebook groups. The owner could not remember where he got them. This is the style I was wanting for my Richard's. Does anyone know where I could find them?

I have a pair of these. I went to get another set but he said he didn't have anymore for Ubertis. The picture above the grips are more like the ones in Last Stand at Saber River revolver. That is what I am trying to simulate

I have one of Prop guns Kenny Howell made for Last Stand at Saber River.
But not the hero piece(s) (Kenny made 3 of those)
The one I have, was also in the shoot but has 1 piece walnut grips.

Many years ago, I made a set of grips out of Corian for my Richard's Transition. I sent them out for the checkering. I tried to replicate the pistol Tom Selleck carried in the Last stand at Saber River.

It's been several years since I did any grips. Attached is how I remember doing them. I'll try to find out who I sent them to for checkering. You might check with a local countertop maker. I think Corian also sells small samples. Also attached is a set I made for my USFA. Hope this helps.

I forgot to mention. With some practice, the shaping of the grip with the a Rotary Oscillating sander is relatively easy to learn how to do. Just take a little off at a time. The same technique works with Walnut grips.

The Corian grips were just fine and never felt slippery. I used two .45 Colt revolvers with 5-1/2" barrels and sometimes fired Black Powder loads.
