Hello All,

Well, the new centerfire conversion breechblock from S&S came today .... WHAT A DIFFERENCE .... The S&S conversion breechblock dropped right in with absolutely no fitting or modification required ... I can't begin to tell you what a PIECE OF CRAP the one from Dixie was compared to this one.  Primer strike is dead center.  Now I'm ready to start enjoying to shoot my new piece of History.

I got my refund from Dixie, so I I'm pleased to say they are honest.

PS ... I used some Birchwood Casey "Aluminum Black" on the new shiny breechblock to give it a subtle aged look.  I learned this long ago.  Aluminum Black on steel makes the steel's bright finish, turn a dull grey.
