Morning all.

Currently 30 degrees with white stuff coming down pretty hard. Plows aren’t out until after 8:30, because government workers can’t have hours convenient for the rest of us.

On the docket today I have three jobs in various parts of town.

Morning y'all.
Coffee and tea are hot.

'Tis 37 and fog. "Not as cool. Cloudy with a chance of showers. Areas of dense fog reducing visibilities to less than 1/4 mile at times in the morning. Patchy fog in the afternoon. Highs around 60. South wind 10 to 15 mph. Chance of rain 40 percent."

Nice photo Russ,
we've had great weather several weeks now, mostly ranging 59° to 79° just one or two days in the low 80's.

Working just a half day at the Museum today. I have a few items donation to log in.

Dropped granddaughter off at work and it hit before I got out of the parking lot, rode it out in the car.  70 mph plus winds and rain.   Then about 15 minutes later.

Seems I was also about 5-6 miles away from a reported tornado, will likely be confirmed by the NOAA guys tomorrow, was watching the rotation along the way but it passed us.

Morning y'all.
Coffee and tea are hot.

No tornadoes around here that I know of. High winds started about 2100.

'Tis 28, overcast and windy. "Windy. Much colder. Cloudy in the morning then becoming partly sunny. Highs in the middle 30s. West wind 20 to 30 mph with gusts to around 50 mph."

Evening all.

We had some minor weather here. 10mph winds and some light snow. Only accumulated about 2”. I was in Phillipsburg for work, and it was 8 degrees there before wind. I also slid down a steep section of road and ended up about 200 yards out in a field at the bottom. I think it scared the cows there more than me. Nobody got hurt, no fences were smashed, and I got out without leaving the driver seat.

They had some twisters down in Iowa, near where my sister lives, but she made it through with just mild winds and a little rain.

I deactivated a Nambu Type 96 machine gun for display yesterday.
Very easy to take down and remove the recoil spring.....
It had been in the bottom of locked glass display case, but now out where it can be seen in the Dec. 7th remembered exhibit
