here is my Springfield Armory. I didn't like the GI grips so I changed them out for some walnut double diamonds from Sarco. Looks much better.

  Mine is a Springfield Armory Mil- Spec, I added an ambi safety, an extra wide spur hammer and a flat snake skin main spring housing, it will shoot a 1 3/8" group at 25 yds. off a Ransom Rest.

Howdy.
This is my Norwegian license produced Colt 1911 made in 1922, number # 2916 (In Norway it is called the Kongsberg Colt 1914 due to the year it was adopted from the US)  This gun was made from 1917 to 1946 and only about 33 000 was made. During the war the Germans took over the production and in 1945 it was issued with German Waffenamt markings. The only thing that is different from the 1911 is the slide release that the Norwegians invented.
