Well at least in a few minutes here.  Wife went shopping today and drug home a rose bush, more on that saga later. ;)

Professor
I’ll let you know how the first stage goes.  I’m scheduled for the 13th, then 6 or so weeks for recovery/healing/measuring for the dentures.  I’ll still have uppers and lowers between my incisors, so I guess I get to eat like Bucky Beaver for a while.  Those will get to come out after they get the dentures ready.

Major

I have a gag reflex that just won’t quit, so I get to take a nap while they do the extractions.

Went to the the Catfish Place

It is a favorite haunt of mine ( and my late Pard John )  we'd go about every Saturday after a visit to our friends LGS.
I carried on that tradition today  :)

I know from where you speak.  This June will mark the fifth year of the passing of a very close friend (the ol’ Italian “gas passer” insisted I call him DAD, as he was to me) so I mark his birth date and passing at his favorite local’s casino when he came over here from Oregon to Reno.  A salute, and a snifter of Grand Marnier.  Always try to get the same seats we sat in when he was last here.  Traditions are a very good thing!!

I'm afraid I might have something looming in my near future.  My wife is out shopping with her friend and may be heading for Big Box hardware stores and garden shops. ::)  I don't think I have to worry about a new rosebush (as we have three already), but she keeps talking about a new ponderosa pine tree for the back yard. :o :o  I don't think this 70 year old back can dig a hole that size, let alone lift that sucker to get it in the hole.  Once it's there I think I'll let her back fill it. ::) ::)

I'm limited to the trowel, bush is soaking in water, tomorrow I will dig a deeper hole than needed and put some ashes in it, due to things going to heck Rowdy is still in his bag in a popcorn tin in our closet, he's seems ok with it, but this is better.

I'm so sorry hear about Rowdy.  I have followed all your posts since since you got him.  Like Major it brings tears to my eyes too.  My condolences, and I wish him well!

It will be two years in July, just didn't get done.  She complains Riley don't like French fries so no one eats her leftovers.  She's stopping somewhere after church and getting some to eat part and he can have the rest one last time. :'(

Tell me about it! ::)
I just spent two hours tracking down the location of the house of a Great Aunt on my fathers, mothers side of the family.  She lived in the small town of Cassopolis MI.  We used to go there every other year for Thanksgiving, when I was about 14.  The alternate years the MI side of the family came to our side of the pond in WI.
Don't lnow why I got the bug to find it, but it just came over me! :-\

2018 was my 50th High School Reunion, I was thinking about going  :-\

It was large Class of 1968 , I looked at the list of RSVP's and only recognize 3 names out about 230 or so  ( and that was only about 25 % of the entire graduating class)
I figured , I did not have any association or memories of any of them ( the 3 were just acquaintances passed in the hallway maybe or a class or 2 )

I had moved away from Miami 33 years ago.... lost touch with my school friends years ago and some had passed  ...so I did not sign up for @ $280 a night hotel room (two nights).
Now kinda sorry I did not go....  in 2020 The class planned a 70th BD Class Cruse. That failed because of the WooHoo Covid .

Still kinda nostalgic .... but  Eh !  I would have little in common with those I did not know anyway

It'd  be different if it was small Class, small town thing ... but my Senior Class was 970 +

We have some moving in too.

The rose and ashes plus McDonald's French Fries are in the ground, not ashamed to say I have tears in my eyes. :'(
