  :-\well, i really screwed up this time! just got a great deal on a used kirst converter for a remmie 58. but out of stoopidity i did'nt read the post right, and now possess a kirst for an UBERTI, when i have a pietta! totally my fault, but i felt i should complete the deal, so my ? is: anyone have a PIETTA kirst and need a UBERTI? or does anyone have an UBERTI 58 for trade for a PIETTA? mine has only fired about 50 cap & ball in 10 yrs. has faux cracked ivory grips(could use a little fitting) and is beeyootiful. would post pics but can't figger it out yet! if interested i will figger the pics out, or have my grandaughter do it for me!!....thanx, and let the wise cracks roll, i deserve 'em! ............warren t upp

Once in a while someone posts publicly about a goof . . . . that makes me feel less stupid about some of the goofs that I have made . . . ! . . . . You will find a solution one way or the other. . . .

I have an 8" Uberti  I would sell cheap.  It has only fired 10 live rounds through it.  And an unknown number of just powder charges.  I got it from a reenactor and he never fired it live round just powder charges.  I would let it go for $180.  But if you are going to convert it and have no plans for the c&b cylinder I would take $40 off the asking price if I could keep it.  I am not really interested in a Pietta cause all mine are Uberti's I sold off the 2 Pietta's I had.  Drop me a line if this interests you.

Not to steal Warren T Upps thunder, but if he decides not to take you up on the Pietta, I would like to.  I need a match for a lonely Pietta w/ C&B cylinder.
