I avoided opening this thread till now, most know my year of 2005 was a rough one, Annie was there when I needed someone to talk to when I was stuck in the hospital several times, I miss her greatly and wish I could show her the pictures of Rowdy and Lexie, she would have loved them.   :'( :'( :'(

Hi, Joyce.  Thanks for dropping in for a chat.

I haven't said much because I just don't have the words.  (Isn't that a laugh?  Forty Rod with nothing to say.)

It seems like just a few days ago she called because of something I posted and she wanted to discuss it in more depth.  We talked for an hour.

I sure miss her.

Well,

A couple of firsts....4Trod at a loss for words, and Old Top beating me to a thread. Well, I kind of advoided the thread yesterday, I had a loss of a vital family member recently (services were last week.)  Miz Lee would have given me heck about the relationship. My wifes ex-husbands wife passed of a brain tumor. We had some fun times, and the last year she was just a shell. But, The Wee Five (You were on my mind....) sang at her service..Amazing Grace. Miz Lee would have enjoyed the whold concept of that and we could have gone on for pages about singers from just the mention of the we Five....

Anyways, Joyce, don't be a stranger, and Miz Lee, Kumbuya Part deauz has yet to be matched...

Good night MIz Lee.

Humblest of respects here.  My mom went last July and I lost a daughter in '97.  I imagine Miss Lee was a hell of a gal--all of em here seem to be.  If I'm tripping over myself here, I appologize, just didn't want to drop by without paying my repects.

I dunno, just a thought...
I wasn't here durin her time, but from what I've read she sounds due the highest level of honor.  Mebbe tomorrow we could attempt some sort of 21 gun salute.  Hard to organize on this sort of forum, but mebbe anyone who can squeeze off three at some point durin the day it'd be close enough.  I'd have enough time at lunch to run up to the indoor and shoot a few.
