Would that be the Waushara County Fair in Wautoma.  Passed thru there many, many, many moons ago on my way to Wisconsin Rapids.

That is it.
BTW, my father worked at the paper mill in WI Rapids.

Rained overnight.

'Tis 60 and sunny. "Breezy. Partly sunny. A slight chance of showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon. Highs in the lower 70s. Northwest wind 15 to 25 mph. Chance of rain 20 percent."

I'm alive, had a little med problem, the Prednisone ran my glucose up a bit, my fault also.  Ran in tuesday night and got it fixed.

Did think up something new, feel free to steal the meme or the saying, probably can use it almost daily. ::)

Been a few days since I checked in. Still working six days a week here, Big storm dropped a huge oak tree across my driveway last Sunday night. Still mostly there. Been whittling away at it whenever I get home early enough, was going to do more tomorrow, but the forecast is for 102 degrees-that's actual degrees, not "feels like" Maybe if I get up early enough, I can work on it a couple of hours before going to church.

We got 101 today actual.  Going to be worse, maybe a new record this week I only have to venture out twice this week so far and not in the hottest part of the day.   Smoke came down from Canada again and with the heat and humidity it's hitting me hard.  Glad we got the new air in 2019.  I know why old people died in the 30's, hope we don't come to this.  1935 pictures, downtown apartment dwellers in July.

Delmonico, I went past the capital this evening, but I didn't see anybody sleeping on the lawn.  We were in town for a gospel concert.  Was out with the in-laws this morning trying to keep the irrigation functional, but we came in around noon and stayed in.  The heat and humidity were quite the combination.

101 outside right now. Got some more limbs cut off the tree this morning, and cut through the trunk in one spot before church. Just now tried to drag it with Big Alice (Allis-Chalmers 190XT), no dice. About 15 -20 feet of the trunk, and the root ball, moved the one end about 2 feet. Maybe just before dark it'll cool down to 90-something and I'll try and cut the trunk loose from the root ball. Tree is about 3' at the base, my saw has an 18" bar.... But it was hollow where I made the first cut, maybe it'll be hollow at the base, too.

Got up at 5:00 to walk the dog before packing her up for Daycare.   I noticed windows all covered with dew on the outside.   Stepped into a nasty sauna.   At 5 am, it was 81 and 98% humidity.   Just let the dog walk around in the fenced in back, which was only for a minute before she came back tongue hanging out.   Supposed to hit 98 today and humidity may drop to 65%.   Eight shades of YUCK!

No rain forecasted for the next several days, guessers say 5% to 7% until next Wednesday.
But the extreme heat of high 90's last week is abated, today's high 93 degrees.

I need to make a run to the PO to send a package, that's all the slate has in store for extracurricular activities today.   :-\  exciting Huh?
