Cool!
Aint that 1860-1861-1862 design jes' 'bout the purdiest pistols ever made? (followed closely by the 1851 and its' Confederate copies and the Remingtons.)
I'd love to have a modern gun that would handle modern loads (I know - it'll never happen 'cause of the wedge) like 44 M or full house 45 Colt, or even 357 M, but in that design !! Kinda like what Hartford Armory has done with the Remingtons! I love my Python, my special edition M629 (no cylinder flutes), my Garand and my 1911A1s, but for plain ol' good looks, nuttin' beats my 1860 Army!
Just my opinion, of course. I'll bet I'm not alone, tho.
Congrats, Mason, on a fine deal!
