Richard is a buddy of mine and a good man to know.  His videos are very enjoyable.

His brother is a hoot too.  I had a chance to smile with him at Big Nose Kates down in Tombstone, a few months back.

You bring up a great point in sharing pages like this. I'd really like to see a new generation of primitive outdoorsmen hit the trails and document it. I have been approached by a lot of younger generations who are concerned about their dependence on smart phones, apps, and electronic convenience. I really think that we need to devote much of the focus in this hobby to reaching the next generations with how-to's to develop their interest. Even if they are not into the living history, it would do them good to pick up a muzzleloader and learn the old ways.
