Title: Novelty Ordnance Civil War C&B Revolvers
Post by: Long Johns Wolf on July 08, 2015, 09:59:54 AM
When I browsed through the www.lodgewood.com website's offerings of Civil War C&B revolvers I stumbled over a couple of CS revolvers - Leech & Rigdon, Tucker & Sherard, Griswold & Gunnison, Dance Brother Navy - from Novelty Ordnance.
These pistols looked kind of newly made and defarbed.
Could find no supportive info on Novelty Ordnance on the internet.
Does anybody here know this company or their products?
Thanks,
Long Johns Wolf

I took at look at the site also - some very interesting stuff.

It says that the Tucker and Sherard uses a Uberti Dragoon as the starting point and was then customized by gunsmith Steve Krolick of Novelty Arms.  The other CS revolvers sold by Novelty Arms are also similarly customized and defarbed Italian guns.

Saw that also, LJW, liked the look of the Dance and the Tucker. They appear to be one at a time custom guns, don't know if you could order what you want or if you just have to take from what appears. Dang nice work tho.

All,

I maybe mistaken, but I think Steve Krolick may be the gunsmith that does a lot of the customized Civil War period work for Lodgewood.
If this is the same individual, I would highly recommend checking into it. (I only knew him by his first name Steve.)
My best,
 Blair
