Good morning folks! Johnny, praying for you and the Missus, stay safe. Del, glad to hear you had sucha good trip. 65 here right now, heading to 83. Second cup of coffee done. Got 300 rounds of 45 Colt loaded yesterday, will get me through the next couple of matches. Worked on the new guncart, it is coming along well, we will see how it does Saturday.

Morning all.

Currently 45, headed to the low 70s if we’re lucky.

Picked up the old ford yesterday. She’s shifting good, but running a little rough. Needs a tune up. Might start trying to work on that today. Also have some 38 brass laying around that might need some powder and lead tossed into it. We’ll see how things go.

Yes I'm having fun, yes I am glad I talked them into doing it on the 18th instead of yesterday.  When the surgeon asked why I wanted to I showed him a picture of me with Cub Scouts and told him another group of kids was expecting me.  He said one of the best reasons he ever heard, and waiting is not dangerous just an extra 2 weeks to hurt, so used to it that it don't matter.

Morning y'all.
Coffee and tea are ready.

Not feeling well, so I'm taking a day off to rest.

'Tis 50 and overcast. "Cooler. Mostly cloudy. A chance of showers in the morning  then a chance of sprinkles in the afternoon. Highs around 60. Northwest wind 10 to 20 mph. Chance of rain 40 percent."

Good morning to you all. Slim, get some rest and get to feelin better! 71 here right now, supposed to hit 82 and lots of sunshine. Good message at Prayer Meeting last night, our Pastor is a "meat & potatoes" preacher, just uses the Word of God and lays it out so clear and easy to understand. Praying for you all, Johnny, hope the Missus is doing better.

Afternoon all.

75 and sunny today.

Spent the morning doing little projects around the house and applying to a Forest Service job. Currently sitting at the tire shop waiting for my truck to finish getting new rubber. Then off to the barn to feed the equestrians. I loaded up a few rounds of 38 and 357 with Acc #5 as well. I had hoped to try and burn some powder tomorrow, but it’s not looking promising.

Good news from Slim and Johnny! 60 here right now, working on coffee and then prepping guns for tomorrow. Supposed to hit 79 today and pretty as you could ask for. You all be good and our friends hit by Ian, be careful rebuilding.

I forgot for those who don't know him, the guy in the Boss of the Plains hat is Wymore Wrangler who help set this up and sponsored it by buying all the food.

My wife finally tested negative today for the covid after 17 days. I was positive for 12 days. We both still have slight coughs but otherwise feeling good.
On November 7th we will be married for 58 years. Good anniversary present today.

Morning all.

Low 40s today, the start of early rifle season. I’m not out chasing meat because, well, I don’t have the appropriate tag. Early rifle season is a youth hunt, and I guess they stop considering you a youth at 16 here. My wife ma disagree with that statement in my case.  ::)

Plans for today include a trip to Fort Missoula and equestrian activities. I got talked into doing some handyman work around the place, so I’ll be hanging some polycarbonate panels over an open window in the barn so that one of the mares stops sticking her head in and stealing the lid to the salt bucket. I’m not sure why she likes doing that, but she finds it quite amusing. I also get to fix the arena fence, which involves replacing a half dozen posts, rehanging rails and painting the whole she-bang. That one will keep me busy a while.

Johnny, glad to hear you and the missus are doing better. Keep up the healing.

TK & Major 2, many thanks for kind words.

My wife is a strong lady. In July of 2021, she had a very serious operation and ended up flat on her back for 21 days. She came home with a feeding tube and could only walk ten steps. Her will and attitude were strong and each day she would improve slightly. Within three months, she was able to shake the tube and return to the pool to do water aerobics. She never once complained about getting the Covid.

We are two very lucky and fortunate people.

Looking over some more pictures I love this one, Wymore Wranglers wife Pam opened the bag of self-rising flour and asked me how much, I told her till I said stop.  Someone caught the look on her face when she realized I wanted the whole bag. ::) ;D
