If they really want to "DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT" maybe they should require all who enter the place over the age of 21 to show they ARE carrying... or at least one in every group. The local fair here isn't gated, except for the grandstand where they have the tractor pulls or music, so they can't really restrict (concealed)firearms. I expect if someone tried to open carry, they'd have the attention of the local police, who are all on duty there.

We can carry anywhere that is not posted. So, the fair grounds is a carry zone.

I would boycott it, but I bought $100.00 worth of pre sales tickets that are non refundable, I will let them know my displeasure about their last minute announcement on the ban of licensed citizens That will do nothing but tick off their customer base.

So much for being a good puppy, he picked my pants pocket that was on the floor and got the key thing a ma fob for Rita's Yuppiemobile.  A few teeth marks on it, works fine.  Oh he was eating dog treats at the time and left crumbs in it.

Then he goes and plays sweet and innocent😂

I?d carry regardless. Unless they have a metal detector you have to walk thru.

Coffee is ready, little cooler this morning. Again rain circled us yesterday not a drop here.

Disney parks do ... their security is like the TSA

all parks and rec areas have walk thru units, if you alarm they ask you to step aside for a wand search ... if they detect,  security with arrest or detention power intervenes.  They also search carry bags, purses & Backpacks.

There is the Disney village  these are restaurants , cinemas, retail stores on Disney property , the parking lot has numerous GUN free zones placards all over as do the business fronts ....

The theory is if its advertised a  gun free/ ban  all are safe...not so...because it is merely a posted soft target for the crazies ....

SHEEP flock in a confined area ....

I do not attend, patronize or accommodate the Business/Location that so sets itself above my 2nd amendment & legal carry permit.

I vote then with my wallet.

They will be wanding people as they walk through the entrance,so it will be locked in the car gun safe.

Good morning! Thanks for the coffee. Well, we went to visit family in Arkansas for the weekend and found an acre lot that we bought and will build our retirement home on in a couple more years!

Thankee Slim, liftin my cup to ya! Raining like crazy here, our plastic owl Yahooty just sitting out on the porch. My wife asked what we could do to keep him from blowing away when we got him and I filled him with wheel weight leftovers from the bucket by the casting bench. That plastic owl ain't going nowhere!
